What’s Cooking – Fall 1988 – Spinach Pakodas

Ingredients:

1/2 packet spinach, wash and cut in small bits
2 onions cut fine
2 potatoes cut fine
3 small chillies, 1 tea spoon green masala (optional)
1 teaspoon cuminseed (whole Jeera)
1 1/2 cups Besan (Gram) flour
Salt and Halad

Method :

To the besan flour add 3 hot tablespoons of oil, mix well, add the rest of the ingredients and mix briskly, add the rest of the ingredients and mix briskly. add salt to taste and dash of halad. Add a little water if necessary to form a smooth batter.

Spoon it into a fry pan. Deep fry in oil till brown.
